Overview & Audit

Tec Products (welding supplies) came to our team looking to grow their paid media Revenue/ROI. Increase overall revenue and efficiency. First, our team started with an audit to find any issues, quick wins and help us determine a long-term strategy. In the audit, we identified the following points:

  • Product feed optimisation
  • Building audiences
  • Identified 4 performance max campaigns with 1 asset group targeting all products (over 6000 SKUs)
  • Found that 5% of products drove 75%+ of revenue.

We then had a discovery call to go over our findings and establish goals, which were to grow total revenue as much as possible while keeping to the blended ROAS target they’ve previously set.

Launching & Optimising

Once the foundational groundwork was completed and goals were set, like optimising the feed alongside the client, we started working on the account. First, we moved away from 4 performance max campaign targeting all products with One asset groups to a category-based campaign structure with all relevant asset groups needed per category.

Given the Growth goals, we needed to re-evaluate our growth strategy. By September, we decided to upgrade our data and performance analysis methods. Working closely with the ADpeak Team & Software. We created three distinct product groups, categorising them as outlined below:

  • Top Performers
  • Medium Performers
  • Low Performers
  • Bin

Furthermore, there is a detailed subdivision within these product groups based on various statistical models that are fully customised for Tec Products.

Key Results (2024/2025)

  • 39%+ in CPC YoY
  • 89.66% increase in total revenue
  • 13.04% increase in Total conversions

This collaboration is helping the client invest their money more efficiently. By leveraging advanced statistical methods and AI-driven analysis, facilitated by our partnership with web development experts and a professional statistician, we are able to more accurately classify and manage our product offerings, expanding our ability to be more visible across the whole product range.

Most importantly, throughout the whole process, Tec Products team have started selling a much wider range of the products inventory and this has allowed for a wider business impact especially in leveraging better supplier prices and deals. At the same time growing the business year over year.

We’ll be running this for the next two months to measure performance as we head into peak season, and will add to this case study (or create a version two) following on from this. Stay tuned!
